Power to the People!

The massive parallel processing power of the Blogos is now online to fact/source check info/news from the MSM. No more shoddy sourcing and/or lazy wire svs stories that go unchallenged. This was spawned from certain news wire svs who at times have been co-opted by the enemy into running disinformation in the GWOT. In so doing this allows the enemy to achieve its objectives that it couldn't otherwise do so on the field of battle to adversely affect the continued political will and support of the American People in the Global War on Terror (Read clash of competing ideologies - free societies vs. Islamofascism). Both national political parties are posturing to protect their own partisan interests to the detriment of our national strategic interests. The dinosaur media as we know it will either have to clean up it's act or continue in its death spiral into irrelevancy!

A new communication medium has be born that is essentially free for all to use that does not have to pander/sensationalize for audiences to pay for the medium in which news/info is conveyed. The new info providers, perhaps a blending of the old dinosaur media with the resources of the Blogos, will sink or swim on the value of the content as to its relevancy and predictability in the daily lives of its readers.

In order for WE THE PEOPLE to hold our elected accountable, WHOM WE THE PEOPLE empower to govern, the people need reliable and timely information of the news of the day.

Hence the birth of Media Mythbusters today.

The goal of this site is to debunk myths that take hold as a result of inaccurate or irresponsible media reports.

Truth Through Scrutiny — When inaccurate information is reported in the news media, especially when it is reported on the wire services and gets repeated worldwide, it is difficult to "take back" the initial report and correct the record. With the rise of new media such as talk radio and blogs, traditional media has come under increased scrutiny and some stories that in past generations might have been left to stand, have been exposed as false. Those instances, which are often relegated to small print at the back of the newspaper, will be collected here.
